Caliber is .44 Special or .44 Russian. Barrel is 2 1/2 inch steel encased in alloy, and capacity is 5 rounds. This revolver will fire in both single and double action modes. Safety is internal transfer bar that prevents accidental discharges if the revolver is dropped. Grips are factory Charter hard rubber, manufactured by Sile in New York; and weight empty is only 22 ounces.
