I was just notified by a GA viewer with an HE in the same serial number range w/a lower number stamped on the backstrap that he has a S&W factory history letter placeing his gun in a part of a 100 gun special order for the Reading PA Police department.Initials stamped on back-strap "R.P.D. 57" Finish showing minor scratches & wear,grips showing wear & few small chips on left panel base.90%+ overall.
