There is no pad and no extra holes in the metal or wood. There are no alterations to the gun, it is all original. The metal is in excellent condition with slight muzzle wear and on the floor plate. The finish shows use through the years and with some dings and marks in the finish. The checkering panels are sharp and clean. There has been no scope mount or bases ever on the gun.
