I originally thought this pistol was a Rast Gasser pistol when I bought it years ago. After researching it on the web, it appears to be a "Fagnus" pistol from the late 1800s. The gun is unique in there are no manufacturers markings or numbers. There appears to be a small hallmark or proof stamp that looks like a number "7". The finish is original with a nice patina. There is a little deep blueing left but not much. The pistol is embellished inside with various engine turnings and engravings. The fit is excellent like a nice watch. It is hard to tell the gun has even been shot. I think it is about 8mm. I will consider trades.
