Rarely do I see a rifle with modifications that actually improve upon factory appearance and function. Someone installed an adjustable comb and Kick EEZ Butt Pad that is absolutely perfectly done. The beauty of the adjustable comb is being able to obtain a better cheek fit with low, med, high scope mounts. This, together with the KickEEZ Pad, markedly reduces felt recoil and enhances shooter accuracy.
I have carefully inspected this rifle, and the only marks on it are from scope bases (pictured). It looks new! The magazine and interior show some firing evidence, but not much. It is clean as a pin internally and has a new recoil buffer. The chamber, throat, and rifling appear as new.
The stock finish appears new, and is identical to factory (I own several). Bluing is without any mark anywhere except as above.
Blue Book of Gun Values places a 100% BAR all Belgium Grade II 338 magnum caliber at $1397.50. ($1075 base. Add 20% for FN mfg. and assembled BARs (marked "Made in Belgium" Add 10% for .338 Win. Mag. cal. (FN mfg. only)
