M&H early model .44 cal. pistol with no finish, but functions well. The barrel is 5 3/4", and has splotches of fine pits in the breech area, and spare areas further down the bore, with strong rifling. The top of the barrel address is not present, has serial number 5715. A .44-40 cartridge does not fit in the chamber so it must be a .44 M&H? I've seen these with chamber opened slightly to accomodate the .44-40 cartridge, but this is a black powder gun only. Skin on the gun is a smooth grey, with areas of very shallow scratches, and few pits, possibly a nickel plated gun.Hole in butt for a land-yard, loop, not present.Hard rubber grips look original, and are good with wear expected for gun of this age!WE SELL ALL GUNS WITH ONE PHOTO, OUR DESCRIPTIONS ARE ACCURATE. WE HAVE A THREE DAY INSPECTION ON ALL PURCHASES!
