GR0519 Here is a very attractive, eminently collectable set of Factory Smith & Wesson Smooth Combat Target size grips to fit any K or L frame revolver with a square butt grip frame. If the shopper is not clear on the difference between round and square, please see the attached photo. K and L frame designation, of course, includes models 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 64, 65, 66, 67, 581, 586, 681, and 686. Since we do not know of any Air Lite revolvers with square butt, those 386 and similar variants are out of the picture here, these won’t work for them. Left grip panel is classic thumb rest style, and it will not accommodate a speedloader. The wood itself is authentic Brazilian Goncalo, and these were manufactured some time in the early 1970s. Surface detractions only amount to moderate scouring to the glossy finish. We rate them as Good, perhaps Very Good, 70 percent vicinity; but photos ought to suffice for our shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Replacement pricing on their nearest currently available similar grips from the factory is upwards of $100 per set, if a person can even find any.
