Rifle has a 20 inch round barrel with open sights. The serial number is 537766 which places it manufacture in 1919. The bluing on the barrel and the magazine tube has begun to thin and is turning to a brown grey patina. There are a couple of rub marks on the barrel as seen in the photos as well as various handling marks. This rifle came out of an estate and is exactly as I found it. The magazine tube requires above average pressure to extract it. The bore is dark but rifling appears strong. I have not tried to clean it. The wood is completely intact and the finished has been redone. The nickel finish on the receiver and trigger guard is generally intact with some nicks mostly on the left side of the receiver. The mechanics function properly. One should recognize that many of the close up photos are magnified and larger than life. Others photos may reflect lighting distortions in effect and color. Buyer to pay $18 for shipping and $12 for insurance. A signed FFL or C&R is required for transfer. No sales tax for out of state purchasers but New York State residents are required to pay 7% sales tax.
