Description: This is a pair of Rare 18th Century English Dueling Pistols made by Sutherland Bros./London(Birmingham 1). These are in excellent condition with just a few minor indentations in the wood and one of the pistols has some minor surface rust on the right side plate. The barrels and bores are excellent as well as the mechanics. These guns were made for a J.T. Anderson which his initials are engraved on a brass medallion on the wooden case and also on a medallion on each of the guns behind the hammer. The right side plate on each gun is marked Sutherland and the tops of each barrel is marked London. The guns come with a beautiful original mahogany display case along with many accessories including, powder flask, flints, round balls, bullet molds, and cleaning tools. The sticker on the inside lid of the case is not the mfg. of these guns but is of the same time period. It seems like it was just stuck on there.
