GR0535 Here is a professionally refinished set of factory Smith & Wesson grips to fit any K or L frame revolver with a square butt grip frame. If the shopper is not clear on the difference between round and square, please see the attached photo. K and L frame designation, of course, includes models 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 64, 65, 66, 67, 581, 586, 681, and 686. Since we do not know of any Air Lite revolvers with square butt, those 386 and similar variants are out of the picture here, these won’t work for them. These are period correct for revolvers manufactured from the 1950s until the late 1970s. Left grip panel does Not have the speedloader cut; that began spasmodically in the mid 1970s. The wood itself is authentic Goncalo Alves, and these grips, from their markings, left Springfield Massachusetts some time in the mid to late 1980s. Logo plating shows some pre-finish weakness, a moderate amount of brass coloration showing where the nickel has worn, and the checkering has some filling from the finishing process. Residual pre-finish wear is otherwise negligible. A Methodist Preacher in Tennessee, not the artisans in Springfield, Massachusetts, performed the work. Replacement pricing on their nearest currently available similar grips from the factory is upwards of $100 per set, if a person can even find any.
