I am original purchaser of gun in early- to mid-1990s. New, with factory box and manual/papers. Never fired since left factory and I have not racked the action. Fires .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO cartridges. Blued metal finish. Very nice, smooth finish on hardwood stock. Open sights: rear windage- and elevation-adjustable aperture sight; fixed ramp front sight. Ruger factory metal 5-round, flush-fit magazine; will accept higher-capacity magazines. Plastic butt plate. Has standard receiver, i.e., it does not have integral machined sight base slots for direct attachment of Ruger scope rings to receiver, as on other Ruger models; however, aftermarket scope bases/rings are available for this model. Has 2 sling swivels. Serial number: 186-37970. Ruger's current production suggested retail price is $881; to confirm retail price, please see. No sales tax (a savings). NOTE: No returns because gun is exactly as described with no visible defects. Thank you for your interest.
