Frank Wesson FACTORY ENGRAVED 2nd Type Two – Trigger Target Rifle, all iron parts , 38 RF caliber, Bore VG plus shiny with a little fine pitting. Mech Exc, Wood VG plus near excellent with goood tight wood to metal fit. Has a 24” Oct barrel with 2 line Frank Wesson address and Patent dates. The top line is visible but light. Has original sights hooded front sight, folding buckhorn rear sight (rear barrel sight may be a replacement) and post type tang peep sight. Serial#9090. The frame , tangs, triggerguard and buttplate have scroll or floral type engraving. Metal overall has an aged grey patina finish with some very fine pitting in areas Very Rare
