Description: From a local estate comes this attractive and unique custom dagger. Manufacturer marking on the reverse tang is Karl Armbrüster; and the name Fritz Armbrüster is on the obverse side of the blade, center of the main part of the blade. This is a highly ornate ceremonial piece, and we estimate that it was manufactured in Germany some time in the 1950s or perhaps early 1960s and brought home by a Tennessee Service Man. Overall length is 24 inches from point to handle bolt, and the blade proper measures 19 inches from point to pommel. Pommel pieces and handle cap appear to be what we call German Silver. Handle material is aged genuine stag with two brass retaining buttons. The rivet nearest the pommel cap is showing but has no brass button. Sheath material is leather with nickel caps and stud, good condition with moderate surface peeling and a crack near the point cap. Blade motifs are hunting scenes with bugles, cannon, deer head, and even medieval armor. Note that the pommel pieces show extensive toning but no pitting; there is, however, a small amount of peeling in the nickel plating near the point of the blade, but only on the dull upper side. We classify this distinctive dagger as a strong Very Good, perhaps even Excellent, condition specimen. Close to 90 percent of its finish is intact, and it has never been used or sharpened so far as we can tell. Photos should suffice for shoppers to make their own judgement as to its condition. We’re offering this fine custom grade dagger for only $119.95. We do not sell knives to civilians under 21 years of age. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
