The .380 Government mags, of course, will lock into battery and perform admirably as a spare mag for all variants of the Sig P-238 Pistols, and also for Colt models Mustang, Mustang Pocketlite, Mustang +2, and Government .380. They will protrude, of course, as the photos show. They lock the slide open on the last shot, free-fall like they’re supposed to, and work just fine. Every auto pistol owner, upon recommendation from the distinguished retired armorers of our local law enforcement agencies, should have at least six magazines for each pistol: three loaded, three empty and rotate every six months to preserve spring strength.
