THIS IS A WINCHESTER MODEL 1897 12GA PUMP SHOTGUN. IT WAS MFG IN 1940. IT IS AN E SERIES TAKEDOWN. IT WAS REFINISHED WITH A HIGH POLISH BLUE AND HAS FAJEN WOOD ON IT. IT HAS A 30" FULL CHOKE BARREL. I BOUGHT THIS GUN BACK IN THE 90'S AS A BACKUP GUN FOR COWBOY ACTION SHOOTING. MY OTHER 97 NEVER BROKE SO I NEVER USED IT. IT LOOKS GREAT, THE BORE IS BRITE AND SHINY AND THE GUN IS SUPER TIGHT.
