I purchased this pair a few years back as matching deer rifles for myself and my wife. I mounted 2 identical Leupold Vari-X IIc 2x7x33 compact scopes on the rifles. I have fired mine (7-08)probably 30-35 times. For the 250 Savage, I purchased 3 boxes of ammunition when new, and there are 45 cartridges left; round count on the 250 Savage is 15 shots at targets. Both rifles shoot an inch or better; the 7-08 loves Hornady 139gr Light Mags, my wife's 100gr Winchesters PPs. My 7-08 has a couple pinhead-sized dinks in the buttstock that you can see in the picture. Other than that, the rifles are as new. Remington's 2008 MSRP on this model is $2,927, best price I've seen on Discount Gunner website is $2,247.I'll entertain offers over $1,575 on each rifle, including scopes.
