Shoots 2 3/4 and 3 inch shells, 26 in. vent rib barrel with the Invector choke system (IC,M,F included). I purchased this gun new in 1991, it was made in Belgium and assembled at the Viana Portugal Browning Plant which has been in operation over 30 years. This plant currently assembles or makes the new A-5, Maxus, Silver, Gold 12 & 20, all BAR rifles and several pistols (see browning.com). Although I have only shot about 200 rounds it has performed flawless on all shots. Has been in a closet all this time and you can see from the pictures it is in almost flawless shape. This will make a beautiful hunting gun for someone or a great addition to a Browning collection.
