This Garand was produced in the final Springfield production run of WWII in 1944. The stock has all the stamps and cartouches. The S.A. G.A.W. (Springfield Armory under Colonel George A. Woody), the P proof mark, and the two crossed cannons on the pistol grip. The stock is an original arsenal stock and is complete with all the handguards and strap loops. The barrel is in very good condition and the bore is clean with nice rifling. Included with this rifle is an 8 round magazine clip for the Garand. The elevation knob and aperture on the rear sight are new replacements. What you see in the pictures is what you are purchasing and receiving.
