This is a good quality lightweight copy of the Walther PP, made by FEG in Hungary, long-time manufacturers for KBI and Charles Daly. The PA-63 is the same dimensions as the parent Walther PP auto: 3 3/4 inch barrel, maximum overall length of 6 3/4 inches; maximum height of 4 1/2 inches; a very nice thin frame thickness of only .650 inches; and a sweet-carrying weight of only 19 1/4 ounces empty. Action is traditional double action, just like the Walther. First shot from a resting hammer position is a tight but smooth double action trigger pull, and the hammer stands for subsequent shots in single action. Single action trigger pull on our samples ranged from 6 to 7 pounds, with moderate to minimal trigger creep on single action. Hammer is classic Walther Commander type. Magazine is all steel bodied 8 shot that yields 9 total rounds capacity of the potent .32 ACP round. Slide and parts are dark blue, very attractive combined with the anodized lightweight alloy frame. The Walther type pistols are some of the simplest made, and easiest to disassemble and clean, since the trigger guard functions as the release lever. This is a local Tennessee River Valley pistol. Surface detractions are moderate, mostly holster and carry contact edge whitening. We rate it as Very Good, 70 to 75 percent vicinity by our estimate; photos, at any rate, ought to suffice for our shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. It is excellent mechanically; bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent.
