French Boxlock Flintlock pistol with flip out bayonet. As far as we can tell this gun was made circa 1800, not sure of the gunsmith that made it, no marks indicating maker. It is in excellent condition, there is some rust in the bore, which measures 0.533". There is a dark patina on the metal, all parts are functioning and appear original except for the screw holding in the flint. Wood grips are great with very little wear in the fine checkering on the back strap and silver inlay. There is a hole in the grip near the safety slide, not sure what this is or if it is original. Overall length is 9 1/2" barrel length is 5" and the bayonet is 5 1/2". This is an antique, no ffl required.
