Stock was made by Gary Goudy, by hand and he checkered it by hand from a 100 + year old piece of English Walnut that is highly configured triple X. The metal was done by Mark Penrod using a receiver from a German Mauser VZ.33 made in 1937. This is a one of a kind rare find!!! Additional features include: Krieger 22” sculptured pencil barrel with a safari barrel band; black ebony tip; Blackburn bottom metal with trap door; Blackburn trigger; Blackburn single stage safety and Neidner checkered metal butt plate with jeweled screws and a Neidner skeleton pistol grip cap with show through checkering. The barrel has a hunting crown and stock has pedestal rear swivel mount. All screws have been timed. Check it out!!!! The checkering on the gun is Mueller 22 lines per inch diamond cut. The Bolt has been hand jeweled. The follower is hand jeweled and is boat handle tear drop checkered on both sides. Comes with custom two piece 1” mounts with rings that are hand rust blued in non glare satin ribbon finish. All this metal is hand rust blued in a non glare ribbon finish and it’s just beautifully done. This gun weighs approximately 6.5 lbs and is in .280 Remington caliber. This amazing gun is in excellent shape, with no marks or wear worth mention, excellent bore, and excellent wood. It was built in the early 80’s and is one of a kind!!!! Only two owners have had this gun, made by the two top custom rifle builders in America. The bolt rolls on the frame like ball bearings. It has been shot and is capable of ½” groups at 200 yards.
