Very good condition. Wood stock in excellent shape with very little nicks. Receiver is stamped Quality Hardware above Serial Number #484xxxx. On top receiver marked US Carbine Cal.30 M1, Rear plate near stock is stamped Rock-Ola above screw. Rear raised Sight is stamped JAO 160060, Trigger is stamped number 8 (eight) Forward Sling Band is stamped JM, Magazine Release is stamped letter “M”. Stock is stamped on left side just below rear sight area, RIA ED within a square. Lower part of stock near grip area is letter “P” within a circle. Under sling recess is marked number “10”. No stamping on butt plate unless on inside. Stock shows small nicks – One at right of receiver, One near butt plate on left side, one above the stamp “P” in circle. One on right side midway between where the heat shield lays and one just rear of that. There is not splits or cracks in stock. Barrel is clean and lands and groves are very good. Comes with sling, magazine pouch stamped dated 1943 BOFF, stamped US on Flap. Do not have the magazine. No bayonet, but has a bayonet lug on barrel. Should be easy to fine one. Weapons screws show not sign of damages. Weapons appearance show that it’s not a commercial production and within at lease 80% condition or better.. Serial number indicates manufacture date of 1944. There is a difference between an all matching carbines and how it left the factory, a lot of M1 Carbine contractors shipped parts to other Contractors. Just because it’s all matching doesn't necessary mean that is how it left the factory? So don't get super disappointing if your Carbine is not all matching, possible its exactly how it was when it left the factory, sometimes marked or unmarked.
