Well the rear sight has been removed and a tang sight is on the gun now. The finish on the receiver is very nice like the rest of the rifle, excellent. There is no pad added, no sling swivels added, and the best is the receiver has not been D&T for scope use. The wood is excellent like the rest of the rifle. And there are no cracks at the tang like most! This is a Pre-1957 gun and is C&R transferable. The serial number puts the gun being manufactured in 1947. The 24” barrel has a mint bore. $599 plus $40 shipping to your FFL dealer. And it will ship in a new hard case and UPS approved outer box that we have made. And that is also fully insured. The white in the markings is NOT paint.
