Good solid Mauser from WWII, that's been sporterized with a walnut stock and schanabel forend. The serial number on the frame is 9357, barrel has large numbers 585 42 cyw, bolt is 9357, and rest of bolt have same numbers. Floorplate is 5581 as well as trigger guard.Barrel; of 24" has a ramp front sight, and a commercial rear sight, Bore is excellant. Top of bolt has a splotch of pitting. Has a rubber buttpad. The stock has a grain split from the breech of the frame backward, and downward of about 2 1/2" long. Looks like it could be repaired. This is not a drop the stock or recoil split, but an opening from the grain movement.
