The Kel-Tec is a good cheap gun, emphasis on good, strange and non-traditional as it is. Counting the ancestor Grendels from the mid 1980s, we have personally sold over 2000 Kel-Tecs, over the counter to local customers who actually use and carry them, and we have sent fewer than 20 of them back to the factory for service. Factory specs are as follows: semi-automatic full time double action pistol; barrel length 2.68 inches; capacity 6+1; ultra high impact polymer grip frame; steel barrel, slide, and internal parts; .795 frame thickness; weight empty 8.5 oz. Own one of these good, flat little pistols, brand new in box, for only $ 249.00. Not transferable to civilians in California, District of Colombia, Massachusetts, or New York City.
