This silver-greyed receiver shows some of master engraver 'Gerhard Liebscher's' finest work. Each side shows different scenes of a partridge pair in flight over a field scene with lush vegetation. Heavy floral scroll covers the bottom of the receiver and continues to the trigger guard and forend latching hardware. Select, Luxus Grade European walnut is used for the straight grip stock and forearm with Merkel's usual fine checkering pattern on both.
