These are hard to find and especially in this well cared for condition. Beautifully checkered stock in excellent condition, oak leaf and basket weave checkering. You don’t see many with this checkered stock. The bluing on this rifle is in amazing condition given the age of the gun. The Model 88 was unlike many previous lever actions, a short-throw under lever operated a three lug rotating bolt and the round is fed vertically from a detachable box magazine. The gun comes with 2 magazines. The magazines alone sell for $125. Comes with a Bushnell Sportview scope with Weaver scope mounts. Asking $1499. Bruno .
