Original finish. No restoration. A number of US Ordnance marks on the pistol along with the usual WWI markings. Barrel marked as Colt 1911. Serial #538XXX. Bore is bright and strong. Range tested and fired fine with no issues, so ask all question as no returns offered. Magazine marked "C-L". Chambered for the original .45ACP round with 7 round magazine. Semi-automatic 8 round, counting one in the chamber. "Boyt 44" made holster. Mag. pouch marked by maker and dated 1944. Early web belt with brass fittings. A very fine, historical rig.
