They will engage the magazine safety in a Browning BDA. These also fit the Beretta 84 Cougar Series Pistols. This magazine has a ledge on its upper right side that engages the BDA380’s Magazine Safety, and the standard 84 Magazines do not have that feature. These are blue steel factory magazines manufactured by Mec-Gar, both companies' primary supplier. Mec-Gar, of course, is a primary magazine supplier for Sig Arms, Beretta, Browning, Fabrique Nationale, and Smith & Wesson to name a few. Mec Gar magazines are the only aftermarket magazines that we recommend without hesitation, and that after over two decades of selling, stocking, and using them. Mec Gar magazines free-fall eject like they’re supposed to; they lock the slide back on the last shot like they’re supposed to, and most important, they are the most reliable on the market. We simply cannot say that for competitors Pro-Mag, USA Magazine Company, or any other aftermarket manufacturer that we know of. We were only able to find a limited quantity of these.
