We offer you a Winchester model 71 chambered in .348 Winchester. The rifle is a deluxe model with the factory original bolt peep. It is a long tang version and is a second year “1936” production gun. The rifle has a pad on it that was added long ago. It has hardened and the LOP over the pad is 13 ½” over the pad. The stocks show dings and marks in the original finish from use over the last 78 years. However, there are no chips, cracks or repairs. The original bluing is in very fine condition with no pitting or rust. The rifle had been stored for a very long time with Cosmoline in the action and on the metal. It was completely gone through and cleaned and checked by our Gunsmith. It is ready to go with no issues, and an excellent bore.
