This blunderbuss was hand-made by native craftsmen in the N.W.India/Afganistan area where the famous battle of the Fort at Chitral was fought by the British army. It is a completely original 19th century tribesman’s gun in perfect working order. The steel barrel is 21" long. The lockplate, hammer and triggerguard are engraved. The fancy, curved buttstock is carved with native designs. This was a British Officer "bring back" and was purchased in Stratford-Upon-Avon, England in 1961.
