This is a very rare 3rd series Lahti L-35 pistol in 9mm - only about 9000 L-35's were hand made in their entire run. These guns are legendary in their ability to function perfectly in the absolute worst of conditions. Please do not confuse this with the lesser quality L-40's that came after these guns. This does not have any import markings.
The gun is in truly excellent condition with the original silver magazine. This one has the very desirable loaded chamber indicator. The serial numbers match on the upper and lower halves - 7692- but it appears there was some dyslexia in the numbering of the bolt as that reads 7629. The last two digits were transposed.
The grips are VKT marked and the top of the receiver reads VALMET L-35. The receiver features the desirable loaded chamber indicator.
