This item has a 24” octagon barrel with a relatively shiny bore. There is some pitting visible in the bore and the rifling isn't as pronounced as it was when new but there is still plenty of rifling intact. Some of the original finish is still intact on the metal though most of it is worn off, there are light scratches and light pitting covering most of the external metal surfaces. The stocks show scratches, dings and wear in the finish however the wood is in good shape and not worn down in the tang areas like so many rifles of its age.
