Here is Leupold’s One Piece, Redfield JR type scope base for the model 110 Right Hand shooter rifle, all calibers. The screw holes should measure 4.605 inches between the holes, between the two screw holes nearest to the ejection area. These mounts will only on a Savage 110 series bolt action rifle, including models 110 all right handed variants, 10, 11, and 12. We have no idea whether they will fit a model 25, since we’ve never seen one of those. They will not fit a Savage Axis rifle; will not fit a Savage 99 Lever Action; will not fit a Savage 340; will not fit the fuel line of a 1948 Studebaker. They will only fit Savage 110 series rifles whose screw holes measure 4.605 inches opposite the bolt port. These bases will only accept Redfield, Leupold, Millett or Burris – Redfield type steel scope rings, where the back / eyepiece end ring sets with side screws, and the front ring twists in with a 90 degree twist. Manufacturer is Leupold & Stevens of Beaverton, Oregon; construction is non-glare matte finished blue steel; screws are Torx head type with blue Loc-tite already in place; and Torx wrench is included. This one piece steel base solves the problem of the Savage 110’s exceptionally long action, and in most cases prevent the need for extension rings. This base will also strengthen the action and reduce recoil stress to the scope’s tube. These bases are not easy to come by.
