Attention Collectors: I have a Winchester Mod.94 30-30 carbine circa 1908. Serial# 440XXX. It has a saddle ring and unusual rear sights that are called "Express Sites", which are (3) sites mounted on one site rail...Dovetail, Buckhorn, and Window Pane. Rifle was a special order from Winchester. The sites were mfg. by W.F. Shear for Winchester. Per the Buffalo Bill Historical Center in Cody, WY. The Express Sites were offered by Winchester as a special order only....This rifle has been in my family since it was ordered new by my late grandfather and I have personally used it as my first hunting rifle. The rifle has no rust but shows signs of patina on the receiver. Bore is in great condition and shootable. Both front forend and rear stock are tight fitting to the frame "No wiggle" and no cracks. Stocks show signs of use where my grandfather had notched his deer kills for one season on the rifle butt. The sites make this rifle unusual and a great addition to a collection...Additional photos can be emailed by request.
