The metal surfaces retain 99% original electroless nickel finish showing some tiny oxidation spotting on the right side of the barrel, on the frame above the cylinder, and along the left side of the rib also with a few light scratches or scuffs. The cylinder exhibits a light turn ring and some powder darkening at the front. The checkered walnut grips with gold Colt medallions rate about excellent showing some very light soiling. Included is a Styrofoam lined wood grained cardboard box showing some tattered edges with one torn corner, with Colt Custom Shop label numbered to the gun containing owner's manual, repair service station list, letter from Colt's president, a brochure on the shooting sports, and the piece from the torn corner. The action functions fine and times perfectly.
