LG00319 Here is a descendant of John Moses Browning’s Model 31 Remington slide action that is not at all traditional. Its configuration follows more closely the High Standard 500 Bullpup shotguns with integral flashlights that made a bit of a splash during the 1960s in a historical context of widespread urban rioting. This bullpup pump-action shotgun, writes the factory, has dual tube magazines that can hold a total of 14+1 rounds of ammunition. The KSG can only set to feed from the right or the left. Once the magazine is empty, the operator must use a manual switch to select the other magazine. This may appear at first glance to be disadvantage but for many people who live in areas where shotgun magazine capacity is limited by law, this feature, or lack of feature as the case may be, could allow them to legally possess the KSG. Specs are slide or pump action shotgun with disconnector apparatus that prevents firing with the trigger held down; 2 3/4 and 3 inch capability; magazine capacity 2x7 rounds + 1 in the barrel for 2 3/4 inch shells; or 2x6 rounds + 1 on 3 inch. Weight empty is 6.9 pounds, with center of gravity over the pistol grip. Overall length is only 26.1 inches, close but federally legal and Non-NFA. Construction is steel barrels, working parts, and magazine tubes, with polymer housing and trigger mechanism. Sight system consists of a 12 inch, 30 slot Picatinny light or optics rail mounted directly over the barrel. Muzzle diameter is .728 Cylinder Bore. We see these offered for sale at pricing up the $3,000.00 per unit. In a few months, if supply increases sufficiently, pricing should drop into the $700 - $800 range, below the $865 MSRP.
