Here is new Tennessee Company C.O. Arms's basic 1911A1, the DGC 1911A1. Many of our shoppers will recall the EMF Hartford 1911A1; C.O. Arms was the actual manufacturer. Frames are domestic mil-spec steel, set off with US walnut traditional diamond pattern grips. Finish is military type matte blue; curved serrated B type mainspring housing; standard military grip safety; serrated blue steel match trigger with overtravel adjustment. Slide is DGC’s own production series 70 type without firing pin block. Sights are medium height blue steel with stake-on half moon front. Barrel is 440 stainless match grade with match stainless bushing. With the dozen some odd stock specimens we have, average trigger pull is a bit over 5 pounds with negligible felt creep. Each pistol comes with an instruction manual, one year factory warranty statement, two blue steel ACT-Mag brand 8 shot magazines, and hard case. Most of these have some reassembly scouring at places, so we are offering a 7 day return privilege. We have test fired each unit with a magazine full of Winchester Ball ammunition.
