This is a Baker Model 1897 12 GA with Damascus barrels, and it falls between Very Good and Fine condition according to the NRA Antique Condition scale. The Damascus barrels are 30" Full Choke,and the exterior has well defined Damascus markings with only a few blemishes and nicks. The muzzle shows some slight dents and dings. The bore has some pitting in a few spots most around the chamber area. The receiver engraving is very fine and clear, the right hammer is a little weak. The stock has some well defined scratches on the right side and a small chip on the left side bottom point near the butt plate. The butt plate has some discoloration around the outer edge. The forearm has some handling marks and one small dent in the very forward section. Please see photos for more detail.
