The only legally importable variant of the Swiss SG550 series firearms, this pistol is a semi-auto non-NFA item and transfers the same as any other pistol. This is the ideal platform for those customers who wish to convert the pistol to a Short Barrel Rifle (SBR) and want an authentic Swiss manufactured SG553. With the appropriate AFT approval, conversion is a simple affair – the stock is the same Swiss manufactured folding stock used on the domestically produced SIG556 / 556XI rifles. Overall length with stock open is 29”. This is the P553-9B-C-RD version that comes with a Flat top receiver with integrated M1913 rail, flip up emergency sights. Features a black Ilaflon coating, 9” barrel, adjustable gas system, and ships with one 30rd magazine. Please note the magazines are unique to the SG-550 series.
