"The gun that won the wild west." Winchester 1873 lever action rifle second model. Circa 1882, Chambered for the .44-40 cartridge, 24 in. round barrel in excellent condition, features the improved dust cover that slides on a center rail, tube magazine, no caliber roll mark on the barrel, serial number 84278 on lower tang, roll mark "Model 1873" under tang sight, overall in great shape. One small flat spot on the outer diameter of the muzzle.
