This is a 12 Gauge LC Smith Field Grade built on a featherweight frame. It has 28" barrels choked mod & full. LOP is 14 1/2" drop at heel is 2 3/4". The bores are bright and shiny. As you can see in the pictures the stock has very nice grain and an old "Red Head" recoil pad. It may have been refinished years ago (I have owned it for 38 years and it has not been touched in that time) The bluing is as close to 100% as you can get. A very good gunsmith (has since passed away) did the fancy work on this gun for a friend of mine and I bought it from him. The lever, triggers, and safety are gold color and the receiver is polished beautifully. Every place I took it people admired it, it is just gorgeous. The Serial Number FW77xxx (All numbers match) is said to of been made in 1924. I know some say this distracts from the value, but how much would all of this cost at today's prices. No Sales to California....
