Introduced in 1927 as the Lefever Long Range Single Barrel Field and Trap, (known as the Model 2) and built until 1942 when it was discontinued. This gun is serial #8761 manufactured in 1928. A 12 gauge gun, single-shot break-open action, 30 inch full choke barrel and brass bead front sight. It features a tang safety, 2 ¾ inch chamber, ejector, pistol grip cap and bird engraving on both sides of the receiver. LOP is 14 inches to a hard rubber butt plate. The hand checkered butt stock and forearm are very nice…checkering is sharp. Barrel bluing is 98%; bluing on the receiver shows slight wear where gun is carried. Wood is very nice with all of the original finish, a couple of minor handling marks. Gun overall is excellent and in collectible condition. Must ship to an FFL; C&R ok. Will ship to CA. 3-day non firing, non-disassembly inspection.
