Model 1884 Trapdoor Springfield, chambered in .45-70 gov't, 32" barrel. Bluing and wood are surprisingly good for such an old rifle. Bore is near perfect as well. Serial number indicates a manufacture date of 1882, while cartouche (which is very good) says 1888. Serial number is 1984XX. Rifle is missing the cleaning rod. Because this rifle is an antique, it can ship directly to the customer. Sales tax collected for CA buyers only. More pictures are available. Add 3% for credit cards.
