Getting the grip screws back into the original grip panels on a Llama XA or III-A pistol can be a challenge. First screw should go loosely, then start the second one and tighten both back and forth. Photos show specimens of Triple K Company’s black ebony colored polymer grips to fit the Llama models XA and IIIA pistols chambered in .32 ACP and .380 ACP calibers. Many of us refer to these as ponys. Some of our photos show the grip frame of a 1967 production nickel IIIA .380. To fit one of these good little Llama pistols, the grip screws need to be 2 1/2 inches, 2.53, apart at their centers. These grips will not fit any other pistol. The Llamas were manufactured from the 1950s up until the early 1990s. They are distinctive little pistols that resemble the Colt Government Model, and these were in fact the direct ancestors to the Colt Government .380 Pistols manufactured during the 1980s and 1990s. These grips Will Not Fit a Colt Government, Will Not Fit a Llama 9mm or .45 Pistol, Will Not Fit a Star or Astra pistol, Will Not Fit a 1960 Stab-Lock Electrical Circuit Breaker Box. They will only fit Llama XA or IIIA pistols chambered in .22 Long Rifle, .32 ACP, or .380 ACP calibers that measure 2 1/2 inches between the grip screw centers.
