PT0363 Here is a slide that probably has some potential. It is World War II era, Remington Rand production, but it has undergone rebluing at some point, and more important, its muzzle end is oversized and it will not accept a standard bushing. We are unclear as to whether this slide has been milled on its muzzle end; we think it is just worn. If anyone has expertise at re-sleeving it, or something like that, it might be quite useful. The bushing groove inside the muzzle is correct and still there, but note that the return spring channel is flush all the way through. The muzzle area proper mikes at .730 width; and the spring cap channel interior mikes at .608 on a horizontal measurement. The rear area, the firing pin housing, is intact and just fine; the muzzle end is what’s the problem. Sights are replacement, as the photos show. We got this from an Oklahoma trader, and we think someone made a target pistol out of it and some more parts some 35 or 40 years ago. We rate it as Good / Refinish in the finish department, but iffy as far as mechanics go. Overall length is 7 7/16 inches.
