This is a Walther PPK .22LR from the post war production range. The serial number and proof marks put its production year as 1966. Since these were banned by the GCA of 68, you will not find many around. I have seen only 2 in the last 10 years. Having matching box w/ serial number is truly a Bonus. Both the extended finger magazine, and the low profile magazine are included. I purchased an additional magazine about 10 years ago, and it’s in the package. The original Instruction booklet and a book of the Walther PP and PPK are also here. The bore is perfect, the pistol functions flawlessly, and it is superbly accurate. The condition is truly excellent, ( especially for a 40+ year old gun ). You will notice some very slight blueing wear at the muzzle, this appears to have been from wear in the box. It has not been holstered. The grips are in excellent shape, and overall I would rate this a 9.5 on a scale of 1-10. NRA Excellent. Until you hold one of these Walther’s you don’t know what you are missing. The fit and finish, attention to detail, and smoothness of the action are something you just have to experience. The prices on these German Manufactured Pistols have gone up exponentially the last few years, and there is a reason for it! With the scarcity of these .22LR versions of the PPK, if you miss out on this one, it may be a long time before you find another.
