The original factory runs, numbers 1264 and 1265, began in 1994 and discontinued in 2003, according to Mr. Fjiestad. Thanks to Talo for bringing back a classic, and we forgive their photo switch. Action is the traditional, Ruger 10/22 blowback semi-auto, the most reliable system of its kind. The action accepts traditional 10 shot BX-1 magazines, as well as the factory Ruger 25 rounder and a whole host of aftermarket mags. Note the extended magazine release, now standard on all 10/22s. Construction is stainless steel parts and barrel with coated natural white alloy receiver, polymer trigger housing and internal buffers. Stock is Mannlicher International style American Walnut, cut checkered on the forend area and pistol grip areas. Barrel length is 16.12 inches, 6 Groove with 1:16 Right Hand Twist. Trigger is matte blue Length of pull is 13 3/4 inches from the .350 step serrated face polymer trigger with steel plunger to the end of the 1/2 inch black spaced brown rubber factory logo recoil pad. Barrel is 18 1/2 inches, 6 groove 1:16 Right Hand twist, with brass tipped black blade front sight that is dovetailed into the muzzle collar; and white diamond elevation adjustable black blade folding anodized rear sight dovetailed into the barrel and drift adjustable only for windage. Overall length is 36 15/16 inches. Weight empty is 5 pounds 3 ounces with center of gravity under the bolt operation handle.
