Description: "ROBIN HOOD No 1", as marked on top of frame, .22 caliber "suicide special" revolver. Serial number 2743. Additionally marked on top of barrel "PAT MAR 14 1878". Metal parts are nicely engraved with little, if any, original finish remaining, showing dark gray patina and granular surfaces overall. Ivory or bone grips are fine with a little light age checking and a couple tiny edge chips. Hammer has spring tension but does not cock. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
