This is Rossi's 92 Octagonal Blue 24 inch Barrel fitted into a matching blue steel receiver. Caliber is .357 Magnum and .38 Special interchangeably with 1:30 right hand twist rifling. Import marks are from the Braztech, on the tang, behind the hammer. This variant of the 92 Rossi sports dark stained Brazilian hardwood stock and forend, with an authentic steel buttplate like its higher grade ancestors. Receiver and forend cap are also blued steel. Overall length is a correct 41 1/2 inches; and weight empty is a well balanced 7.7 pounds. The principal difference between this and the originals is only the bolt safety, placed unobtrusively forward of the hammer.
